ACIFA - STRONGER TOGETHER
The Alberta Colleges and Institutes Faculties Association (ACIFA) serves as the provincial voice for the academic staff associations of Alberta's colleges and technical institutes. As a collaborative professional organization, ACIFA represents the interests of its members and works collectively to enhance the professional and economic well-being of faculty. This, in turn, supports the advancement of high-quality post-secondary education across Alberta.
Membership in ACIFA includes the academic staff or faculty associations from 13 public post-secondary institutions in Alberta's original college sector, encompassing comprehensive community colleges, polytechnics, and the Alberta University of the Arts. At Lethbridge Polytechnic, our participation in ACIFA underscores our commitment to fostering excellence in education, supporting faculty development, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of Alberta’s post-secondary system.
