You Are Not Alone Project - Advisory Recruitment
Hello Lethbridge College Faculty Members,
Winter is almost over; or so we hope. We've been asked to reach out to our Lethbridge College Faculty Member with an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our community.
ACIFA has partnered with the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (JHC) to gain deeper insights into the experiences of discrimination faced by our members in their workplaces and union. To ensure a comprehensive and respectful approach, JHC is forming the "You Are Not Alone" ACIFA Advisory Group, and you are invited to become a part of this initiative.
As a member of the Advisory Group, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the JHC research team. Your expertise will help shape the research tools and frameworks, provide insights into the unique dynamics of your organization, contribute to outreach strategies, and offer valuable feedback on accessibility considerations.
Here are some key details about the Advisory Group:
Commitment: Four virtual meetings of approximately 2 hours each, scheduled between March and September 2024.
Recognition: An honorarium will be provided for each attended meeting, acknowledging the value of your time, expertise, and participation.
Confidentiality: Your responses to the application will be kept strictly confidential, accessible only to the JHC research team.
To express your interest and apply for a position in the ACIFA Advisory Group, please submit your application before February 29th, 2023.
Your involvement will not only contribute to a more inclusive and understanding community but also help shape the direction of the research. We believe that your unique perspectives are essential to creating positive change within ACIFA.
